INTERESTING ANTIQUE OVAL DIORAMA OF A SEASIDE VILLAGE. The background having eleven houses and one church in lithographed wood form. Several trees and roads are seen with a man & woman at edge. The foreground with ocean having a variety of activities including a man in boat shooting two ducks, a sailboat with rolled sail, two small boats, a buoy, a windmill with attached building and two kids swimming. Centered in the glittering silver & gold sky is a U.S. flag on pole atop a hill. Oval deep frame painted gold. SIZE: Total: 22″ x 26-1/2″. PROVENANCE: Barbara J. Thornsjo Estate, Albion, Maine. CONDITION: Some edge putty missing on left part of glass, a few minor loose pieces, generally good. 9-20837 (400-600)
