11-5/8″ SYMPHONION COIN-OP MUSIC BOX WITH ADVERTISING. Decorative walnut case with heavy moldings, door has arched window with gold leaf musical lyre and stars, original carved pediment with finials and advertising mechanism in center of pediment. Advertising mechanism is a Ferris wheel with six 1-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ advertising cards that change over at the end of each tune. Also dispenses cigarettes and includes several old boxes. The music box is double comb, nicely restored with good loud tone. Single spring motor, coin operated by English penny. Includes 15 discs. Will stand on table or counter or wall mount. SIZE: 20″ w x 36″ h x 13″ d. CONDITION: Case is very good original condition. Three small carvings are loose and in the drawer.
