WINDSOR SACK-BACK ARMCHAIR. Late 18th/early 19th century. The narrow bowed crestrail with 7 spindles joined to the midrail continuing to simple armrests above the flat trapezoidal plank seat raised on splayed spindle legs joined by an H-form stretcher. SIZE: 42-1/2″ h of back, 16-3/4″ h of seat. PROVENANCE: Barbara J. Thornsjo Estate, Albion, Maine CONDITION: With black paint over red paint. Structurally good. Legs reglued to plank seat. 9-20817 (400-600)
