MULTIPHONE COIN-OPERATED CYLINDER PHONOGRAPH. A very rare automatic phonograph which selectively plays 24 cylinders. Manufactured around 1906-1910. These instruments are very rare but this is the scarcest design. Has a very tall and impressive oak case with turned columns, carvings at the top and top of the door. Carved paw legs with additional carving in the base. Large brass bell horn angles out from the top. Inside is the visible Ferris wheel for 24 cylinders and the playing mechanism. Powered by the Edison Triton motor down below. Beveled glass in front door with glass sides. Includes 24 cylinder records, keys and crank are present. SIZE: 33″ w x 93″ h x 20″ d. 38″ d with horn. CONDITION: Case has been carefully and thoroughly restored and re-glued. Original type finish with identification decals. Playing mechanism is thoroughly restored and plays very well, not real loud but they never were.
