ELMER CROWELL WORKING DECOY TOGETHER WITH A SECOND DECOY. First half 20th century, Massachusetts. The first example with brown glass eyes and green bill branded beneath base “A. ELMER CROWELL/DECOYS/EAST HARWICH MASS” within an impressed oval. Second attributed to Chadwick carved from the solid with yellow and brown glass eyes, stripped of paint. SIZE: Crowell: 18-1/4″ l. Chadwick: 14-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Both in fair condition. 9-25602 (400-600)
