CAST AND MOLDED METAL BULL TRADE SIGN. Late 19th century. The sign, depicting a bull’s head with ears perpendicular to the head, its neck encircled with a belt embossed with a garland of acorns and oak leaves and fitted with a metal hanger. The whole in gold paint. SIZE: 14-1/2″ h overall x 14-1/2″ w x 12″ d. PROVENANCE: Barbara J. Thornsjo Estate, Albion, Maine CONDITION: Structurally very good. Original painted surfaces showing wear overall, but remaining 95% intact. 9-20826 (500-800)
