GROUP OF FIVE A.E. CROWELL MINIATURE DECOYS. Each example bearing the rectangular impressed Crowell stamp on base. The first, a black duck in reaching pose; the second, a red breasted merganser drake in reaching pose; a teal; a widgeon; and a bufflehead. SIZE: 1) 2-1/2″ h x 5-3/4″ l. 2) 2-5/8″ h x 5-3/4″ l. 3) 2-7/8″ h x 3-3/4″ l. 4) 2-3/4″ h x 4″ l. 5) 2-1/2″ h x 3″ l. CONDITION: 1) With scuff marks to paint on tip of bill and tip of tail. 2) Tip of bill with roughness, paint abrasions to beak area and to wing tips and tip of tail. Otherwise good. 3) Small rough spot tip of beak, abraded area to left and right of tail at body. Otherwise good. 4) Paint losses to tip of beak and tip of tail, otherwise very good. 5) Generally good with some abrasive losses to tip of wing, tip of tail and tip of beak. 9-24747 (6,000-8,000)
