LARGE BANNERETTE BRASS AND COPPER WEATHERVANE. Late 19th, early 20th century, New England. This nice verdigris example with intricate molded brass scrollwork centering a revolving rod fitted with five propeller-like appendages. The cast-iron arrow with pronounced flanges. Offered without stand. SIZE: 15-3/4″ h x 55″ l. CONDITION: Generally good with old solder repairs. Blades mostly absent on central rod. One section of banner scroll, lower rear, needs reattachment. 9-26283 (2,500-4,000)
