AMERICAN DOUBLE SIDED SURVEYOR TRADE SIGN. Late 19th century. This nice example hand painted on each side “A. H. KONKLE, / SURVEYOR”. Each letter three dimensionally painted in yellow outlined and accented in red and brown all on a deep blue painted background, the molded frame square nailed and painted blue-black. SIZE: 13-1/2″ x 51-3/4″ including frame. CONDITION: Frame is weathered, the original paint equally weathered and faded, but remains legible. There are shrinkage cracks visible in the single board sign. 9-98119 (1,250-1,750)
