UNIQUE SHEET IRON AND LEAD WEATHERVANE WITH POINTING HAND. Late 19th century, New England. With C-scrolled banner, the rear section of sheet-iron modeled as leaves. The lead tip cast and molded in the form of a lady’s hand with lace cuff and pointing forefinger. Offered without stand. SIZE: 11″ h x 32-1/2″ l. CONDITION: With nice weathered verdigris surface, hand with good patina. With losses to upper banner and to tips of each leaf, also with some creasing. Otherwise very good. 9-26285 (2,500-4,500)
