PAIR OF BAROQUE STYLE ENAMEL GILDED FIGURAL STANDS. Second half 19th century. Each example with brilliant indigo enamelwork simulating a star filled sky centering vignettes of putti. The gilt metal mounts of satyr’s masks emitting scrolling leafage. The bases comprised of floral garlands and scrolling feet. SIZE: 15-1/2″ h overall. CONDITION: Overall very good, but with damage to enamel work between the base of the urn and the top of the plinth. Also with small losses beneath the top rim. Damage on each at connecting points. 9-98236 (1,400-1,800)
