5 CENT MILLS UPRIGHT JUDGE SLOT MACHINE. A very attractive and appealing gambling machine in a nice oak paneled case with elaborate iron castings. The tin lithographed wheel features a series of judges in their robes along with the various payout colors. Odds ranging from a 2 to 1 payout to a 20 to 1 payout enabled a player (or five players) to bet on certain colors. Mechanism is reliable in nature so in their original time of usage, there was little down time or loss of income for the operator. One could play anywhere from one to six nickels, increasing his odds of winning. The machine has a nice older restoration to the iron castings and wooden cabinet. SIZE: 64″ h. CONDITION: Overall very fine, a couple of roller wheels on mechanism are missing, thus mechanism is slightly out of kilter, but functional.
