ADAMS BALLGAME PENNY DROP. An early 20th Century baseball gambling device in the form of a penny drop. Prospective player would drop a penny in the slot at the top of the machine and as it cascades down a series of nails it wold either be a winner (1, 2, or 3 runs) or a loser (an out). Awards were paid respectively as to how many runs were scored. SIZE: 14″ w x 18″ h x 9-1/4″ d. CONDITION: The oak cabinet has been refinished and lettering on play field is of more recent vintage. Replaced back door. 1-11106 (600-900)
