NEW ENGLAND PINE SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARD. Mid 19th century. Of rectangular form, the cabinet mounted with a single door with four raised panels opening to an interior of six fixed shelves at varying intervals. The whole originally in a green or blue paint. SIZE: 75″ h x 35-1/2″ w x 14-1/2″ d. CONDITION: The primitive cabinet structurally intact without cornice or base. Piece retains all original elements including backboards. The later pink painted surface of the exterior has been scraped off in many areas revealing the original blue/green painted surfaces. The condition of the surfaces is fair. The painted surfaces of the interior are in better original condition. Original knob and latch are absent. 9-98350 (800-1,200)
