LOT OF 5 MINIATURE STEAM ENGINES. Lot includes 4 Weeden engines including example with horizontal boiler and walking beam marked “The Weeden” on its metal base. An elaborate brass horizontal boiler connected to a central flywheel and horizontal piston mechanism all within 6-legged cast base is embossed “Weeden – Trade Mark Reg U.S. Pat Off.” A similar but electric Weeden horizontal boiler (missing cord) within heavy cast base. Also a more recent Weeden electric version mounted to wooden base. Also included is a Wilesco live steam plant with horizontal boiler with glass door and steam gauge within faux brick housing with chimney mounted to metal base holding large flywheel and dual horizontal pistons. SIZE: Varies from 6-1/2″ l to 13″ l. CONDITION: Generally fair to good showing wear, use, and some missing or broken parts. 1-10834-14 (300-500)
