NEW ENGLAND EARLY AMERICAN GRAIN PAINTED BLANKET CHEST. Circa 1800. The rectangular hinged lid with applied molded edges opening to a storage interior, the conforming case with boot jack ends and front molding. The whole sponge decorated in black over red. SIZE: 27″ h x 49″ l x 22-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Good overall showing normal and acceptable wear and retaining original surfaces. Till is missing, as is the hasp for the lock. 9-98610 (700-900)
