TWO INLAID MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD TEA CADDIES. Mid 19th century. The first a Federal satinwood example of rectangular form with shell inlays. The interior fitted with a glass waste bowl and tea compartment with crossbanded lid. The second of sarcophagus form in figured mahogany with string inlays, lion mask ring handles and suppressed brass ball feet. The interior fitted with lidded tea compartments. SIZE: First: 5-3/4″ h x 9-1/2″ l x 5-1/2″ d. Second: 7″ h x 12-1/2″ l x 5-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Both professionally restored and refinished. 9-98052 (500-800)
