JOSEPH C. BAIL (French, 1862-1921) POLISHING THE KETTLE. Oil on canvas, interior scene shows a young kitchen boy wearing a white cap and apron, sitting on the ground polishing a large brass kettle. Signed lower left “Bail, Joseph”. Housed in what appears to be its original liner, placed in a replacement gilt frame. SIZE: 9 3/4” x 11 1/2”.
