KAMSEH ORIENTAL RUG. Late 19th, early 20th century. Three aligned scalloped medallions in light green and light indigo in a blue/black field of dense polychrome flowerheads, the burgundy main border with scrolling vinery and flowerheads. An almost identical example to be found in the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts, see Cyrus Parham “Masterpieces of Fars”, page 223. SIZE: 9′ 7″ x 6′ 7″. CONDITION: Overall with minor wear, the deep colors strong and crisp. 9-98327 (1,200-1,500)
