TWO GEORGE III CARVED MAHOGANY KETTLE STANDS. Last quarter 18th Century. Each with a molded circular open top on turned shaped supports joined to a medial stretcher, the first fitted with a single drawer, the second fitted with a bank of two drawers. Each raised on three collinettes joined to a tripartite shelf raised on three cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. SIZE: 32-1/2″ h x 11-1/2″ d ; 31-3/4″ h x 10-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Both with original surfaces. Each with repaired top rings. The first with small veneer losses on medial shelf otherwise good. The second with old restoration to one leg otherwise good. 9-21295 (400-600)
