ENGLISH CHIPPENDALE CARVED MAHOGANY BEDSIDE CUPBOARD. Third quarter 18th Century. The rectangular cabinet with gallery top carved with pierced carrying grips. The front a hinged lid simulating a bank of two cockbeaded drawers. Raised on square molded and chamfered legs. SIZE: Overall 30-1/2″ h; Table 27-1/4″ h x 19″ w x 14-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). Stair & Company, New York, N.Y. CONDITION: With original surfaces now somewhat dry with staining to top. In need of re-polishing. Retains original brass hardware. Structurally good. 9-21324 (400-600)
