GEORGE III CARVED MAHOGANY KETTLE STAND. Late 18th Century. The circular dish top joined to a swelled spiral twist raised on a tripod cabriole leg base each with foliate carving, terminating in flattened ball and talon feet. SIZE: 21″ h x 11-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: With old surfaces and rich patina. Restoration to edge of top. Old damage with restoration at top of standard, otherwise very good. 9-21287 (400-600)
