Posters read: “Les Fables de LaFontaine en Action – Librairie Delagrave, Paris”. Good to very good condition with some horizontal roll creasing. Size: 16″ w x 38″ h. 3) Floral still life oil painting on panel dated May 1932. Good condition. Size: 11-1/2″ w x 14-1/2″ h. 4) Japanese embroidery on silk. 5) 19th century Mason’s silk apron. Good condition with age deterioration. Size: 16-3/4″ w x 19″ h. 6) Christmas cloth decoration with illustration of Santa Claus in a blue suit, his arms loaded with toys. Corners feature vignettes of Christmas activities, circa 1890. Very good condition. Bustling street imagery includes towering downtown mercantile buildings, a Washington St. trolley car, motorized and horse drawn carriages and in the foreground an elegant matron with child being seated into a motor car. This was the official poster designed by New Orleans native Hugh Ricks and is numbered “1604/5000”. Near excellent condition.
