STODDARD MFG. CO. “TIGER” BICYCLE POSTER. Lush summertime vista in an alpine-like setting sets the backdrop for promoting this Dayton, OH manufacturer’s Tiger brand bicycle. The logo for the Stoddard Mfg. Co. appears in the lower right corner and the Tiger insignia can be seen on the front fork. An extremely well executed stone lithograph circa 1890. Stoddard was founded in 1869 manufacturing farm implements before switching to building bicycles. In 1904 they reincorporated as the “Dayton Motor Car Co.”. SIZE: Sight Size is 22-1/2″ w x 16-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Printed image is very good to excellent; needs new matte board. 1-10969 (500-1,000)
