EXCEPTIONAL LARGE CARVED AND PAINTED BLACKAMOOR. Third quarter 19th century, English or possibly French. The carved figure of a young man holding a large serving tray wearing blue and white three quarter length trousers with a red striped sash at the waist. Well defined torso with accentuated musculature. The figure with glass eyes posed on a stepped plinth. SIZE: 60″ h. CONDITION: Original painted surfaces and with old shrinkage cracks.
