LOT OF 20 BREWERY ADVERTISING SIGNS. 1) Heileman’s Old Style Lager beer illustration on canvas of a Grenadier. Very good condition. Sight Size is 19″ w x 30-1/2″ h. 2) Genesee Brewing Co. cardboard poster titled “12 Course Ale”. Illustration of Clydesdale team pulling delivery wagon. Very good condition. Image Size is 38-1/4″ w x 20-1/4″ h. 3) Pabst Blue Ribbon lithograph on paper in original marked frame. Fair condition with considerable moisture staining. Overall size is 25-1/4″ w x 22″ h. 4) Pabst Blue Ribbon cardboard poster captioned “Good Old Time Beer Flavor” in original marked frame. Small paper tear at upper left field, otherwise good condition. Overall 39″ w x 22″ h. 5) Schlitz Brewing Co. factory sign with original lettered matte and frame. Illustration is in good condition with water stain to right margin; matte board has a couple scattered water stains. Overall 41″ w x 18-3/4″ h. 6) Silver Spring Brewery paper lithograph of a fireman from this Victoria, B.C. brewer. Near excellent condition. Image is 16-1/2″ dia. 7) Carling’s Ale T.O.C. sign with imbibing policemen entitled “Nine ‘Pints’ of the Law”. Good to very good condition with small puncture at bottom, few light scattered scuffs. Size is 20″ w x 13″ h. 8-9) Two Yuengling Brewing Co. cardboard signs with easel backs for Chesterfield Ale. Illustration features inset portrait of blond woman with glass of ale. Both are good to very good condition having some scattered wear and a few scuffs. Size is 18″ w x 30″ h each. 10) Carling’s Red Cap Ale R.O.G. sign. Large green bottle graphic captioned “Quality That Never Varies”. The R.O.G. is very good to excellent condition; the cardboard backing has some mold and foxing. Overall size is 13″ w x 23″ h. 11) Hanley’s Ale R.O.G. sign with bulldog from the James Hanley Brewing Co., Providence, R.I. Good condition with some flaking and lifting of paint to the reverse red background. Overall size is 17-3/4″ w x 14″ h. 12) Balentine R.O.G. sign. Good condition with some lifting to paint at left side of sign. Overall size is 17-1/2″ w x 14-1/2″ h. 13) Drewry’s Beer and Ale silkscreened tin sign. Image of Canadian Mountie with his trusty steed. Good to very good condition with slight mottling of background to right of horse’s chest. Overall size is 21″ w x 26-1/4″ h. 14) Budweiser Anheuser-Busch print of Cyldesdale team pulling red delivery wagon circa 1920s. Good condition with some noticeable mottling of color to the sky.
