PAIR OF GENUINE WARD BROTHERS SIGNED BOOKENDS. Each bookend consists of the breast and head of a Canada goose mounted on a wooden bookend; one fitted with a pen holder. The underside of both have tags which read, “MADE BY STEVE WARD, CRISFIELD MARYLAND FOR JULIAN TYLER, 1973”. Steve and Lynn Ward were two of the most famous antique decoy carvers in American history and their carvings and paintings are held in high esteem in the decoy collecting world.
