BAKER CHOCOLATE AND COCOA ADVERTISING SIGN. Illustration of a colonial parlor, rendered in the style of Maxfield Parrish, to promote the chocolate broma and cocoa produced by the Walter Baker Co. of Dorchester, Mass. The sign is in its original marked wood frame, but what is unusual is the composition surface which it has been printed on. A label on the reverse refers to this sign as a “Composition Card Mounts-Better Than Glass or Metal” with a patent date of May 21, 1872. SIZE: 30-3/4″ w x 27″ h overall.
