FOLK-ART INDIAN CARVED SHIP STERN BOARD. This great late 19th to early 20th century Stern board features a relief carved, polychrome head of an Indian chieftain with a war bonnet. Above in a black banner “Viroqua”. Very nicely rendered and in great condition. With a nicely aged patina. SIZE: 17-1/2″ h x 31″ w. CONDITION: A couple of age cracks in the board and paint shows wear. 9-27168 (1,500-2,500)
