NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD DEMILUNE CARD TABLE. Circa 1800. This branded example with the name “C. ADAMS”, probably the original owner, possibly from Portsmouth, NH or North Shore, MA, has hinged demilune top with string inlaid edge above the conforming frieze inlaid with satinwood panels, a figured maple inlaid oval paterae, all with crossbanded edges raised on square tapering legs with inlaid panels and crossbanded cuffs. SIZE: 29-1/4″ h x 35-1/4″ w x 17-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Surfaces have been cleaned and polished. Proper left front leg repaired at apron. 9-98056 (3,000-5,000)
