NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL CHERRY AND BIRDSEYE MAPLE BOWFRONT CHEST OF DRAWERS. Circa 1810. The rectangular top with bowfront and crossbanded edge above the conforming base of four graduated cockbeaded long drawers, each with birdseye maple veneer panels within mahogany crossbanding, raised on shaped French feet, centering a shaped apron. SIZE: 34-1/2″ h x 40-1/2″ w x 22-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Very good overall with polished surfaces. Feet original with reinforced glue blocks. Backboards original.
