EARLY AMERICAN PINE AND FIGURED MAPLE TAVERN TABLE. First half 18th century. This nice example with a single board rectangular pine top with molded edge projecting above the conforming apron fitted with a single tiger maple drawer raised on baluster and ring turned blocked legs joined by a rectangular box stretcher. SIZE: 27-1/2″ h x 43-1/4″ w x 26″ d. CONDITION: The scrubbed top with good old surfaces. The underside with remnants of early red wash. The base lacking original finish and with old insect damage.
