FINE NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE TEA TABLE.

FINE NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE TEA TABLE. Second half 18th century, probably Massachusetts. This porringer top example in old red wash. The top with outset rounded corners with cusps projecting above a rectangular molded apron raised on four tapering blocked cylindrical legs terminating in delicate round platform pad feet. SIZE: 26″ h x 26″ l x 20-3/4″ w. CONDITION: Table retains much of the older surface on base. The top, with much of the original pegging, but with two later screws to fastened top, has been cleaned with later red wash, additionally with small triangular shaped patch on edge of top. Feet all appear original without restoration. Corner blocks appear original. Very good overall. 9-98114 (7,000-9,000)
