Extremely rare illustration of the Hires boy logo providing testimonial to its benefit as “The Great Health Drink”. Caption on the wood crate reads “Say! You Ought To Drink Hires Root Beer”. Copyright 1892 by the Charles E. Hires Co., Phila., PA, The Knapp Co., Lithographers, N.Y. SIZE: 28″ w x 41″ h., professionally matted and framed. CONDITION: Overall this piece displays well with some mottling of color throughout the light background areas; some visible folds and rippling and areas of color touch up, where it has had some professional restoration. 1-10825 (3,000-5,000)
