LARGE PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE STORAGE JARS WITH COVERS. First half 19th century. Each baluster form jar decorated overall with festive processional in underglaze blue. The shoulders applied with masks. Each lid with a foo dog finial. SIZE: 22″ h. CONDITION: Glaze in very good condition overall. With small areas of roughness or bubbles on each mask. Covers each with chips on interior rim. One cover with chips on outer edge of rim. Base rims with old chips and roughness. 9-21519 (4,500-6,500)
