FINE IMARI PUNCHBOWL. Second half 19th century. The central rondel of chrysanthemums, the bowl decorated overall with reserves of chrysanthemums and deep indigo tree branches, all gilt highlighted. Exterior decorated with floral vinery. The footed base with border of deep blue. Top rim with scalloped edge. SIZE: 5″ h x 12″ dia. CONDITION: Interior with glazing bubbles in rondel and with some wear to gilding. Foot rim and upper rim intact. Otherwise very good overall. 9-21513 (1,500-2,500)
