AFTER GERARD DOW (Gerrit Dou) (Dutch, 1613-1675) “DER ZACNERTZ” (The Tooth Physician). Oil on tin painting shows a dentist successfully pulling a tooth from a young lad. Housed in its original gilt gesso decorated frame, which is as is. Appears to be a 19th Century copy, which is well done. SIZE: 10” x 8-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-25126 (400-800)
