A number of the books believed to have been owned by either Tobias Lear or Benjamin Lincoln Lear. A number of the books on this list are included in this auction offering. Includes a one year bond to Tobias Lear to James Calder, Sept. 1, 1815. Also a deed to Tobias Lear from Christopher Andrews dated 1815; Deed to William Coltman to Benjamin Lincoln Lear, 1816; A letter dated 1809 regarding confirmation of an appointment time from Gulian Valpaplanik; A three-page letter from Tobias Lear dated 1814; Hand written history of the Tobias Lear family; A copy of Benjamin Lincoln Lears’ will. Other items include a couple of pieces of old fashion currency, a lock of hair from Mrs. Jefferson Davis.
