The left column being titles, the right column listing the number of volumes. This is a two sheet document consisting of 6 pages. A number of the books believed to have been owned by either Tobias Lear or Benjamin Lincoln Lear. A number of the books on this list are included in this auction offering. Includes a one year bond to Tobias Lear to James Calder, Sept. 1, 1815. Also a deed to Tobias Lear from Christopher Andrews dated 1815; Deed to William Coltman to Benjamin Lincoln Lear, 1816; A letter dated 1809 regarding confirmation of an appointment time from Gulian Valpaplanik; A three-page letter from Tobias Lear dated 1814; Hand written history of the Tobias Lear family; A copy of Benjamin Lincoln Lears’ will. Other items include a couple of pieces of old fashion currency, a lock of hair from Mrs. Jefferson Davis. Other papers include various people such as Abigail Southwick, John Decatur, Andrew Jackson Decatur, Maria S. Decatur, Stephen Decatur of Boston 1876, John Baylor of New Market, and more.
