FINE DOUBLE SIDED GAME BOARD. Early 19th century. This square pine example carved with the initials “F.S.” in one side. The checkers side in black and green paint on a mustard ground within a black border with lunette corners, additionally framed with coachwork scrolling decoration. The reverse with Mill Game on a mustard ground within a black border. SIZE: 11-3/4″ h x 12″ w. CONDITION: Checkers side overall good with minor paint loss from wear and nice patina. Reverse with larger areas of paint loss. 9-25632 (800-1,200)
