UNSIGNED (19th Century) PAIR OF HANGING BIRDS. The pair of oil on panel paintings are housed in identical carved walnut Victorian frames having gold liners. One shows a dead Robin hanging from a small string attached to a nail. The other shows a Flicker type bird. The birds are seen against the stained wood of the panel. SIZE: 18″ x 12-3/4″. CONDITION: Good with some light scratches, some light warping to boards. 9-91303 (600-1,000)
