1864 COLT SPECIAL RIFLED MUSKET. Cal. 58. Cut down musket with 30” bbl, 2 bands, replaced front sight with 500 yard 2-leaf rear sight. Good inspector marks and good cartouches. Standard lock markings dated “1864” and also on bbl. NSN. CONDITION: As noted. Good. A number “8” stamped on bbl in wood. Wood is sound, metal is bright, light pitting around the nipple. 3-30028 JR545 (300-500)
