GEORGE III MAHOGANY BUTLER’S TRAY ON A LATER STAND. Last quarter 18th Century. The rectangular paneled top with hinged gallery sides, each with a pierced hand grip and scalloped edges. Fitted to a later Chippendale-style mahogany stand raised on chamfered square legs. SIZE: 24″ h overall; 19″ h table; Closed 29″ x 22-3/4″; Open 38-1/2″ x 32-1/2″. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: With some professional restoration, hinges original. Some staining to top from glassware. Otherwise good. 9-21327 (400-600)
