TWO BALUSTER FORM ORIENTAL TABLE LAMPS. Late 19th, early 20th century. The first a Famille Noire example decorated overall with polychrome painted peonies and exotic birds beneath branches of cherry blossoms. The second with floral cartouches within green, orange and white shaped borders beneath a row of floral and foliate trellis work. SIZE: First: 32″ h overall, 15″ h of vase. Second: 25-1/2″ h overall, 10″ h of vase. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Enameled surfaces of both vases very good. Each drilled and mounted on a hard wood base. 9-21351 (500-800)
