GEORGE II CARVED MAHOGANY KETTLE STAND. Mid 18th Century. The circular top with scalloped edge joined to a spiral twist swelled standard raised on a tripod cabriole leg base foliate carved at the knees terminating in ridged pad feet. SIZE: 22-1/2″ h x 14-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Table retains old surfaces with good patina. Two small chips on scalloped edge of top, otherwise very good. 9-21288 (400-600)
