FULL BODIED COPPER HORSE AND JOCKEY WEATHERVANE. Last quarter 19th century. This fine example with verdigris surfaces and with remnants of early paint depicting a rider with mutton chops and cap posed in upright position holding reins and crop. The horse “Smuggler” with well defined details. Now offered with museum stand. SIZE: 16″ h x 25-3/4″ l. CONDITION: Very good with single unrestored bullet hole in mane and with minor seam separations. 9-25622 (8,000-12,000)
