STEINWAY & SONS MAPLE AND MAHOGANY BABY GRAND PIANO. Circa 1959. Serial number 362704. Model S baby grand piano with a range of 7-1/3 octaves and with 88 keys of typical form raised on square tapered legs with marlborough feet. SIZE: 5’1″ l x 4′ 9″ w. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Estate (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Soundboard appears intact. Keys also in nice condition. Losses to veneered surfaces at right and left of keyboard on ends of supports. Also some veneer loss at lower lip of case above end leg. Original surfaces with rich red/brown tones, but with some shallow surface scratches to finish. Otherwise very good. 9-21269 (2,000-4,000)
