TWO VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER CHATELAINES. The first Chatelaine hook with cherub riding a winged dragon. English hallmarked Birmingham, 1888, maker’s mark “JT”. Three chains holding the following: 3-1/2″ scissors holder; 3″ card holder, Birmingham mark, maker’s “JM”; 1-1/2″ dia. disc pin holder, London hallmarked, marker’s mark “CS FS”. The second is a Chatelaine pin in the form of a winged cherub with lute, marked “sterling” having five chains with the following: 3″ dolphin shaped silver vinaigrette; 1-1/2″ silver match holder engraved “Cecile”; 2″ scroll decorated piece; 1-1/2″ dia. hinged pill box dated “89”; 3″ silver framed celluloid notepad marked “Cecile”.
