RARE BLACKHAWK FULL BODIED COPPER WEATHERVANE. Third quarter 19th century. A.L. Jewell & Co., Waltham, MA. This fine diminutive example with sheet copper mane and tail edges with verdigris surfaces. Offered with museum stand. SIZE: 17-1/2″ h x 25″ l. CONDITION: Very fine with two early filled bullet holes to proper left rear leg and mane.
