Includes a very large parchment deed dated 1796 to Stephen Decatur, a bond to Stephen Decatur dated 1803 for $4,444, a deed to Peter McCall of Philadelphia, also a petition for a resolution to the Senate for the benefit a pension for Mrs. Susan Decatur, widow from Commodore Stephen Decatur U.S.N, dated March 3, 1887; Also a copy of the Congressional Globe dated Feb. 22, 1834 which includes an article “A bill to compensate Susan Decatur and others, widow of Commodore Decatur”.
