FULL BODIED GILT-COPPER EAGLE WEATHERVANE. Last quarter 19th century, American. This large well articulated displayed eagle perched on a copper ball now joined to a roof mount. Offered with a museum stand. SIZE: 32-1/2″ h x 43″ wingspan. CONDITION: Gilded and verdigris surfaces mostly intact. Seams generally good. Tight splits seam of proper left wing front at body.
